She is an actress, dramatist, dialogue writer and director also. She was engaged with and Indo-german group called Grips. She made her debut in 2004 for the film Shwaas. Her success came from Harishchandrachi Factory and received MICTA award. she is married to Hrishikesh Deshpande and has a daughter. she went to Garware High School and graduated from Fergusson College. Her works include Sacred Games, Tumhari Sulu, Mumbai Meri Jaan etc.
